This text comprehensively outlines the Position of Women from the viewpoint of Imam Khomeini (r.a.). Starting with acknowledging the Great Women of the World, such as Hazrat Fatima Zahra, the compilation then covers the status and rights of women in Islam as well as the role of women in their families, and the Jihad of a woman, specifically giving examples from women during the time of the Islamic Revolution.

The discussion of taqlid had been important in the wake of Ayatullah Burujirdi's death for the reasons given by Lambton. A solution to the problems posed in those articles was never achieved, and events subsequently altered the whole structure of the discussion, but the issues raised did open important new areas for thought. As a result of the revolution, the question of wilayat alfaqih came to the fore, and taqlid became the subject of even greater public concern.
As long as taqlid had been restricted in the common understanding as applying only to matters which belonged to the rubrics of the collections of fatwas issued by the marja`s, the only real debate took place within the legal classroom; but during the seventies, and hand in hand with the reawakening of political sensibilities, the boundaries of fiqh were seen by the public to expand and encompass new territory. The definition of these new frontiers was a source of some confusion, and hence of heightened interest, and, in the great post revolutionary surge of printing, the Burujirdi volume was reissued.
Taqlid had long been a socially important element in Iranian society, and in Shi`i society in general, for it united people, at least as inhabitants of the same universe of duties and obligations, under their marja`s, but the events leading up to the revolution demonstrated the power that the marja`s could command through, among other means, their issuing of proclamations (`ilamiyas); this was reminiscent of the mobilization of the Iranian people during the tobacco protest of 18912, and during the Constitutional Revolution of 1906-11.
The following article is presented as a description of taqlid and ijtihad by a leading contemporary Shi`i mujtahid who strove to make Islam comprehensible to the modern Iranian and to find answers to the problems of his time within the Islamic framework. The text has been left in its entirety; there were no footnotes in the original.

In today’s world, the instruction and upbringing of children are among the most basic social issues and important elements for the happiness of humanity. Therefore, scientists have carried out deep psychological and educational studies and research and have written an infinite number of books on this subject.
In addition, countries have formed extensive organizations for the proper physical and psychological upbringing of children and have put children under theoretical and practical monitoring in every respect.
14 centuries ago, however, when people were engulfed in an age of darkness and ignorance, the great leader of Islam paid full attention to the value and importance of children’s upbringing and provided the necessary teachings to his followers.
If scientists today pay attention to the instruction of children after birth, Islam has provided step-by-step specifications for marriage, conditions of spouses, having pure children, breastfeeding, and the physical and psychological upbringing of children.
If scientists today include precise psychological and instructional points in their books about children, the leaders of Islam noted the same in their sayings and demonstrated the same in their practices long ago.
Our purpose in writing this book is two-fold:
One: It is hoped that all the Muslims, especially educated young people, who constitute a large part of the society, will become aware of the comprehensive programs and orders of Islam and the practical value of this religion while relying on their solid faith and beliefs in order not to be deceived by the programs of others.
Two: It is also hoped that parents will become aware of their religious and national duty in the upbringing of their children. In order to help parents carry out this great responsibility, for doubtless a great part of the social problems and moral pollutions experienced today are due to ignorance and unawareness about how to perform one’s duties, we decided to provide a practical model for those who want to bring up physically and psychologically healthy children. The best model for Muslims is the great leader of Islam, Prophet Muhammad and his rightful heirs, who can be our reliable models throughout life, as they did not commit any mistakes. It is hoped that humanity will become aware of the true models to follow and will surrender the false satanic models in order to achieve happiness in this world and the next.
This book consists of two parts:
1. The Prophet’s attitude towards children, consisting of five chapters, each having its own subject heading.
2. The Prophet’s attitude towards youth, consisting of four chapters, each chapter having several subtitles.

In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful. Praise be to Allah (SWT) whom none is praised but Him, and no one asks reward on a calamity except from Him. May Allah (SWT) reward us for our calamity regarding the grandson of the Holy Prophet, Al-Husayn bin ‘Ali! May peace and blessings be upon the Holy Prophet Muhammad (S)and on his purified progeny and those who take him as guardian!
I have been thinking for a long time about the idea of establishing an international tribunal to try the killers of Imam Husayn (as) and the perpetrators of the massacre of Karbala.
The idea is to place them under trial with the charge of committing war crimes, mass murder, and crimes against humanity, based on the modern-day laws and understanding, and away from any religious accusation or anything related to religion.
A real and practical trial which the whole world participates in… one that is represented by a group of chosen judges who come from all parts of the world, and a jury who represents all the different nationalities and religions of the globe.
A trial that gives the defendants the right to defend themselves through lawyers and a defense team; it would have a prosecution team as well. The defendants would be called by their names only (since they died long time ago) to face the world and all of humanity. They will be tried for their crimes and massacres which they have committed in Karbala. The witnesses will be called from the historical texts, and the well-known Islamic books written by famous Muslim historians.
Let this be a just and fair trial by international modern standards under the supervision of the international community. Let the court trial take its time and follow all the legal procedures which are typically followed in most of the democratic countries that respect human rights.
Thereafter, a fair verdict will be issued regarding the criminals and let all of humanity make its judgment against them and then sentence them! Let the horrendousness and insanity that happened in Karbala be exposed to the whole world as it does not only belong to the supporters of Al-Husayn (as) alone, but to ALL of humanity! What happened in Karbala greatly exceeds crimes committed against humanity and the war crimes. It will shock the whole world and I am very confident of that!
Accomplishing this is not impossible and praise is to God, the supporters of Al-Husayn have sufficient monetary and social ability to sponsor such a trial, especially in the western countries. We could accomplish this mission with determination and this will surely be a great achievement in front of the whole
world. Let the truth be revealed and let all of humanity sympathize with the tragedy of Imam Al-Husayn (as)!
We hope and pray to Allah (SWT) that this dream becomes true one day, and our Muslim nation and the world wakes up after following this trial which should be broadcasted live in all parts of the world, especially our Islamic nation which has been affected by ignorance and blindness. As a result, it lost the ability to recognize truth from falsehood, and friend from foe.
Till this dream is accomplished and Allah (SWT) sends he who is capable of turning this dream into reality…one who is chosen from the lovers and devotees of Imam Husayn (as), and they are many thanks to Allah (SWT)…till that happens, I will attempt in the following pages to present my conception of how that could be accomplished. How do I visualize it to take place and in what way?
I will try to imagine every detail of the court trial from the judges, the defendants, the indictment, the witnesses, prosecution and defense teams, the court sessions, the jurors, and the announcement of the final verdict as well as its consequences.
Perhaps these details would serve as a model and a useful tool for the actual trial if it hopefully becomes a reality one day by the hands of a person(s) who would adopt this idea, execute it, and win the great reward from Allah (SWT) as well as the blessed intercession of Imam Husayn, his holy grandfather, father, mother, and brother (peace be upon them all).
Without further ado, let us depart together to the world of imagination and let us ride the train of time to the future so that we live this beautiful dream in the following pages. The dream of achieving at least a small portion of justice for Imam Husayn (as) and his family and companions, until Allah (SWT) wills the reappearance of Imam Al Mahdi (AFS) from the progeny of Prophet Muhammad (S) who will fill the earth with justice and equity after it was filled with oppression and transgression.
The first justice he will seek will surely be to attain vengeance for Imam Husayn (as). Let us start together in this journey…the journey of seeking human justice. I hope it will be exciting, beneficial, sad, and filled with information and facts about the events which took place in Karbala.
Hopefully, everyone can benefit from this, and then knowledge can be propagated in a novel way of presentation that suits the modern life and time change. From Allah (SWT) we seek help and on Allah (SWT) we depend!
We seek His reward and we desire the intercession of His Holy Prophet (S), ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib, Lady Fatima, and her sons Hasan and Husayn, may peace and blessings be upon them all!
This is an ideological Persian book written by Ayatollah Jafar Sobhani –one of the greatest Shia scholar in Qom-translated into English by Jalil Dorrani. Its publisher is Naba Organization. He argues the Shia issues which are different from Wahhabism in 20 chapters and then criticizes the beliefs of wahhabism. Its Persian version is published in Imam Sadegh (A.S) organization and it has Arabic and English translations.
The author mentions in the prologue of his book that:
"I have mentioned all Wahhabism issues which are different from other Islamic creeds and through Quran and traditions have stated the real theology of Islam. The present book is third book I offer the Islamic society and I request all Wahhabist authors and scholars in Riyadh and Mecca and Medina and other followers in other places, to criticize my books rationally if they have any disagreement and reduce disadvantages of these books in people's eye, otherwise let other people think independently in Mecca and Medina and eliminate offences towards us in divine and peaceful place and stop Wahhabist propaganda which is just loss-maker and causes quarrel and then leave the Islamic society for real scholars."
The author in the beginning mentions that Islam is based on monotheism and unity and they are emphasized by Prophet Mohammad. The he states the principals of Wahhabism which are formed by deviated and extremist beliefs of Ibne-teymiyah and then founded by Mohammad-ibne-Abdolwahhab. Wahhabism rejects their opponents and Institutionalizes splits and schism among all Muslims.
"Tragedy of al-Zahra’ Doubts and Responses" was authored by Ja’far Murtadha al-Amili and translated into English by Yasin T. Al-Jibouri.
The events which al-Zahra' had to undergo and the tribulations were not directed against just her own self, or against her personality as an individual, as much as transgressing firm Islamic principles in order to reach what those who carried them out could not otherwise reach or achieve, matters which they had no right to attain. Al- Zahra' in fact, was a mighty bulwark that stood in the way of the achievement of such unjustified and illegitimate ambitions. This issue emphasized and confirmed the illegitimacy and illegality of such ambitions according to the nation's level of awareness, in her conscience, and in the Islamic and human consciousness as well. This brief review aims at displaying those inquiries which produced some sort of doubts among some people then register observations and provide explanations which clarify things and, God willing, polish the right image and perfect its necessary characteristics, providing explanations or answers to other questions or doubts raised about other issues relevant to al-Zahra' .
This book among its kind is unique and not a book has been written like this so far, as long as the author has stated the history of oppressed Lady Fatima Zahra in a historical and detailed way, and even if there are other books but this one has more valid and better sources.
This book is written by Sayyid Moustafa Al-Qazwini and printed in Canada by Friesens Corporation. The author argues in the book about the early history of Islam from different aspects and mentions the routs of difference of Shia and Sunni schools of thought. It is a critical analysis of early caliphate in Islam in order to understand the present by knowing the past in-depth study and analysis of the early Islamic history and caliphate and personalities of the first three caliphs based on Sunni sources.

This book is written by Asad Wahid al-Qasim and translated into English by Yasin T. Al-Jibouri. Its publisher is Ansariyan Publications - Qum. As'ad Wahid al-Qasim is a seeker of the truth who tried hard to reach it very bitterly till Allah guided him to the Straight Path. He was born in the Dayr al-Ghusun village on the West Bank [of the Jordan River] in Occupied Palestine. Having finished his high school, he made the trip to Jordan where he earned a diploma in engineering vocations. Then he traveled to the Phillippines where he earned his B.A. in Civil Engineering then his Masters in Construction Management.
The author states all stories happend to him that ended up with getting the truth. And understands that Shia sect is the true one. He mentions some issues about this sect and defeats against the doubts made by other sects such as Imamate. He argues that Shia has the purified sunnah.
